Antequera is a city located to the north of Malaga with important historical monuments recognized by UNESCO as Human Heritage . To start our route by motorbike and get to Antequera we can do it by the Motorway A-92, or through the village of Campillos.
From this point you will be able to contemplate “La Peña de los Enamorados” or as others know it “La Cabeza del Indio”, a mountain located at the foot of the city.

At the beginning of the descent through El Torcal, take direction Villanueva de la Concepcion. You will find some curves at the entrance of the village, be careful with them. You must continue towards Casabermeja.
Casabermeja Casabermeja is a small village in the province of Malaga, located only 20 km from the capital and has a great history. The biggest trace of this land was left by the Arabs, even today there are still some remains like the Torre Zambra. Motorcycle route in Montes de Malaga
The cemetery in this locality has been declared a historical-artistic monument since 1980, consisting of cemeteries, tumuli and pinnacles in a staggered manner. Then you must follow the A-356 road towards Velez-Malaga, leaving this road to reach Colmenar.
Do you know why Colmenar has this name? It owes its name to one of its cortijos, where there were a large number of beehives in its territory. This village will be the gateway to the A-7000 road in the Montes de Malaga National Park. This part of your route on a motorbike you will enjoy it a lot, a road with truly beautiful views.
From this road, at the end, you will arrive by motorcycle to the heart of Malaga . You will arrive at the mountain pass called Puerto de Leon, here you will be able to see the sea from its viewpoint and rest in the Queen’s Fountain..
From this point the road has much more pronounced curves. This point is only 15 km from Malaga and as you get closer you will start to see restaurants. You will enter the city through the periphery and you will be able to contemplate its historical helmet, to enjoy the Castillo de Gibralfaro.
