The province of Malaga has true paradises in its interior to discover.

There are different alternatives, as luckily it has coastal and inland villages. Do you prefer beach or mountain? Today we recommend some of Malaga’s most beautiful and easiest greenways.

Easy bike route from the centre of Málaga

A route of approximately 15 km. From there we will pass by the beach of La Malagueta, the area of Pedregalejo, El Palo and El Dedo. We will continue through Cala del Moral and end in Rincón de la Victoria.

This area is perfect for a rest and a drink in its many bars, we recommend Casa Kiko, Chiringuito Avante Claro or La Quiniela, for example.

Bicycle route Málaga – Fuengirola

Now let’s do the route in the opposite direction. This bike ride through the province of Malaga is much longer but does not have difficulty, so it is perfect for enjoying bike routes in Malaga. We depart from the centre in the direction of the Port of Malaga, we will continue walking along the beach of La Misericordia until we leave the capital. A good time to admire the Ornithological Reserve, continue through Torremolinos and Benalmadena until you reach the end of our route Fuengirola.

After 30 kilometres by bicycle from Málaga you will surely feel like resting for a while and having a drink at Los Manueles or Bar el Cano among many other restaurants in the town.

Discover by bike the surroundings of Malaga

Like the other two bike routes through the province of Malaga, we will depart from the center of Malaga, this time to return to the same point. Another easy bike route through Malaga. We will leave in the direction of Teatinos, a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Malaga that hosts many students during the university period. From the Teatinos area we will go towards the Limonero reservoir. This was inaugurated in 1983 and its retaining wall is made of rock.

After passing the Limonero reservoir we will continue through the Ermita de los Verdiales, passing through the Embalse del Agujero, the Presa del Limonero and from there we will return to Málaga.

Depending on the type of routes you usually do, you will use a road bike or a mountain bike. If you are only here for a few days, but you want to do different things you can rent a bike. We have electric bikes if you are looking for maximum comfort.
